How GOODEAL finds the deals that are actually worth it

Prices and discounts updated every 30 minutes

GOODEAL is a Canadian deal-discovery site. 100% of our deals are scanned on Amazon.ca, with prices checked every 30 minutes through Amazon’s official API. Our idea: 50 excellent offers instead of 10,000 useless products.

How we pick a deal

  • A real discount. At least 20% below the usual or list price provided by Amazon. A suspicious gap against an unverified list price is discarded.
  • Popular products. We feature the best sellers on Amazon.ca, not unknown products at a slashed price.
  • An available product. New, in stock, with an up-to-date price.

The GOOD SCORE

The GOOD SCORE, from 0 to 100, sums up how good a deal is: percentage off, product popularity, reliability of the reference price, seller and availability. It is an editorial rating to help you compare, not a guarantee of product quality.

Prices that stay current

Every product shows the date and time its price was last checked. An offer that has not been rechecked recently disappears from the site. When Amazon announces the end of a promotion, GOODEAL shows the real time left, with no fake countdown.

Frequently asked questions

Does GOODEAL sell products?

No. GOODEAL spots deals on Amazon.ca and sends you to the product page. Purchase, delivery and returns are handled by Amazon.

Are the prices accurate?

Prices come from Amazon’s official API and are checked every 30 minutes. Each price shows the date and time it was checked. The price shown on Amazon.ca at the time of purchase is the one that applies.

What counts as a “good deal” for GOODEAL?

A product priced at least 20% below its usual or list price, in stock, and among the best sellers on Amazon.ca. Obviously inflated list prices are excluded.

What does “Ends in…” mean?

It is the time left before the end of the promotion announced by Amazon. If Amazon announces no end, we show no duration.

How does GOODEAL make money?

Through affiliate commissions: if you buy after clicking one of our links, Amazon may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, GOODEAL earns from qualifying purchases.
