Privacy policy

GOODEAL (goodeal.ca) is a deal discovery site operated in Québec, Canada. This policy explains what information we process, why, and your rights under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and PIPEDA.

What we collect

• No accounts, no forms: GOODEAL never asks for your name, email or password.
• "See the deal" clicks: we record the offer clicked, the page language, the device type (iPhone, Android, computer), the app you came from if any (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok…) and the referring site's domain. We store neither your IP address nor any device identifier. This data is only used to measure deal popularity and to open merchant apps. It is kept for 24 months.
• Technical logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. SeeCloudflare's policy.

Cookies

GOODEAL sets no advertising or tracking cookies. When you click a deal you leave GOODEAL; the merchant (e.g. Amazon.ca) may then set its own cookies to credit the purchase to GOODEAL, under its own policy, such as theAmazon.ca Privacy Notice.

Sharing

We never sell or rent any information. The only third parties involved are our host (Cloudflare, which may process data outside Québec) and the merchants you choose to visit.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by writing tocontact@goodeal.ca. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
